   চলচিত্রের নায়ক রাজ রাজ্জাকের মৃত্যুতে স্তব্ধ হয়ে আছে পুরো চলচ্চিত্র অঙ্গন। গতকাল সন্ধ্যায় তার মৃত্যুর খবর ছড়িয়ে পড়ার পর রাজধানীর ইউনাইটেড হাসপাতালে এক নজর এই কিংবদন্তি নায়ককে দেখার জন্য চলচ্চিত্র সংশ্লিষ্টসহ তার ঘনিষ্ঠজনদের ঢল নেমেছিল। রাতে রাজ্জাক ফিরেননি নিজের সেই চিরচেনা গুলশান দুই এর বাড়িতে, কিন্তু তবুও সেখানে তার ভক্ত, শুভাকাঙ্ক্ষী, প্রিয়জনরা ভিড় করে ছিলেন রাতভর। আজ সকাল থেকে প্রিয়.কম এর পক্ষ থেকে যোগাযোগ করার চেষ্টা করা হয় চলচিত্র অঙ্গনে তার দীর্ঘদিনের সহকর্মীদের সাথে। তার সমসাময়িক খ্যতিমান অভিনেতা আলমগীর, প্রথম সিনেমার নায়িকা সুচন্দা, আরেক জনপ্রিয় চলচ্চিত্র জুটি ববিতা, চলচ্চিত্র অভিনেতা ফেরদৌসসহ অনেকের সাথেই যোগাযোগ করা হলে তারা জানান- এই মুহূর্তে কথা বলার মতো অবস্থা তাদের কারোরই নেই। অভিনেত্রী সুচন্দা বলেন- 'আমরা সবাই এখন রাজ্জাক সাহেবের পাশে বসে দোয়া দরুদ পড়ছি। কথা বলার মতো মানসিক শক্তি নেই' । এদিকে বাংলা চলচ্চিত্রের এই খ্যাতিমান নায়কের মৃত্যুতে শোকাহত চলচ্চিত্র অঙ্গনে তিনদিনের শোক ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে। উল্লেখ্য, গতকাল (২১ আগস্ট) বাংলা চলচ্চিত্রের এই প্রবাদপু

Model and actress Risila Binte Wazer reportedly committed suicide at her residence in Badda area of Dhaka today. Her body was found hanging from the ceiling of a room in their residence in Shajahadpur area around 1:30pm, Rafikul Islam, assistant commissioner of police in Gulshan division, told The Daily Star. Risila was pronounced dead after she was taken to United Hospital in Gulshan around 2:00pm, said Dr Shagufa Anwar, communication and business development director of the hospital. “She committed suicide while she was talking to her husband through a WhatsApp video call,” said Abu Bakkar Siddique, officer-in-charge of Badda Police Station. Family members found her hanging from the ceiling after Risila’s husband informed the matter to her mother over phone, the OC added.

A 15-year-old girl has allegedly been raped by driver and helper of a goods-laden truck inside the vehicle. Police rescued the victim from the truck in ACI Panirkal area of Narayanganj's Siddhirganj around 10:00am yesterday. Quoting the girl, Abu Bakar, sub-inspector of Siddhirganj Police Station, said she left home after a quarrel with her mother. She reached Gazipur Chowrasta area around 4:00pm on Tuesday. Around 8:00pm, driver of the truck Mehedi Hasan and helper Sohan found the girl on the street alone and forced her to get on the vehicle, saying they would take her to Dhaka. But when the truck was heading towards Narayanganj, the duo raped her, the police official said.
